Friday, April 5th, 8 pm:  Home Concert in North Berkeley, featuring Adrianne Greenbaum, flutist, Cookie Selegstein, violin, Josh Horowitz, accordian and Stu Brotman, bass--members of Veretski Pass.  I am sponsoring this event with my friend, Adrianne, fellow Oberlin graduate and spectacular klezmer and trad flute player.  Not to be missed! Saturday, April 6th: 3-6 pm:  Jane Lenoir Quartet, with Ricardo Peixoto, at the Lake Chalet, 1520 Lakeside Drive, Oakland on Lake Merritt.  Also playing:  Adam Gay, bass and Akira Tana, drums.  NO COVER.  Beautifully remodeled venue with a great menu and ambiance.  I’ll be playing here through the summer with different musicians performing Brazilian, Afro Cuban, Latin Jazz and Jazz.

Sunday, April 28th, 3-6:  Beach Chalet, Lake Merritt.  Berkeley Choro Ensemble performs traditional music of Brazil, featuring Jane on flute, Harvey Wainapel, clarinet, Ricardo Peixoto, 7-string Brazilian Guitar, and Brian Rice, percussion.
